Worship Leader - Michelle Brooks-Thompson

Dr. Michelle Brooks-Thompson is a Grammy-nominated Gospel recording artist and a passionate worship leader who believes in the transformative power of music and ministry. With a Bachelor’s degree in Music and a minor concentration in Religion from Mount Holyoke College, along with an Honorary Doctorate in Philosophy of Humanities from United Graduate College and Seminary International, Michelle combines her academic knowledge with her spiritual calling.

For over 20 years, she has led church and educational institution choirs and ensembles, beginning her journey in worship ministry at just 13 years old in her grandfather's church.

At Red Oak Church, Michelle is passionate about creating a worship experience that allows members to encounter the profound presence of God. Along side the worship team, she seeks to engage the congregation in heartfelt worship, helping them to connect with their faith in meaningful ways.
